Had a good weekend sharing time and space at the Juneteenth Festival. The portrait I took of my friend @daurbannerd was him dressed and representing The 3rd United States Colored Infantry, an infantry regiment that served in the Union Army during the American Civil War. #juneteenth

i ❤️my dad, aka Dzia Dzia. his slow talkin’ warm goofy ways carried down the ways, it’s (gene)tic! btw..he went on a treasure hunt to find me this vest. and my mom lovingly made his.

Couple things happening today in Germantown. @vintadelphia is having a sidewalk sale and also further down the avenue is the Juneteenth celebration in the 6300 block of Germantown from 12-7. I’ll be there helping @youngamericancider pour samples at the beverage tent!

This week I got to see my nieces off to prom, one of whom was wearing the dress I wore to my sis’ wedding twenty years ago before they were even born. I then proceeded to get married myself this weekend to my superbud for the past 15 years @todderk17 Time doesn’t march on it waltzes, and my heart is full with friends, art, and family.
